Theo

Theo was the third point in our triangle. He and Marty had known each other longer, but they welcomed me into their dynamic without hesitation.

We spent lunch breaks talking about planes, engines, and hypothetical dogfights. Alongside aviation, Theo also has a major interest in dinosaurs, which added another fun layer to our conversations. Ultimately, it wasn't just about the topics we discussed — it was about having a space where I belonged.

Theo had a calm way of explaining things. He didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing something. That mattered more than he probably realized.
