Military vs Commercial Aviation

Two different worlds of flight, both fascinating in their own way.

Marty was into military aviation — WWII fighters, bombers, dogfight tactics. I was more into commercial aviation — airliners, routes, cabin designs. We balanced each other out.

Military aviation is about performance, agility, and mission-specific design. Commercial aviation is about efficiency, safety, and passenger experience. Both are incredible engineering feats.

Our conversations would go from discussing a P-51 Mustang's roll rate to comparing the cabin comfort of a Boeing 787 vs an Airbus A350. It was our thing.
